Dinamo Bucharest once again Super Cup winner

The Romanian Super Cup consisted of semifinal and final before the winner could lift the trophy. No matter the setup, Dinamo Bucharest remained on the throne, secuing the fourth title in a row with 32–24 over Baia Mare in the title game.

Dinamo is once again en route for a season in Champions League. Two weeks before the real intense games start filling the calendar, a two day effort against domestic opponents became good preparation.

As the favourite over Potaissa Turda, the capital team scored 17 goals in each half for a total 34–27 triumph. Meanwhile Baia Mare won a tight affair with Gloria Buzau only one goal behind.

The final was a repeat of the 2024 edition and Baia Mare couldn’t stop Bucharest´s dominance. Branko Vujovic provided forceful attacks with six goals and Ionuț Iancu used his minutes between the posts wisely with nine saves in all.

Bucharest meet Sporting CP in the CL premiere September 10, now with a total of eight Super cup to boost the confidence.
