The progression of CSM Bucharest without Cristina Neagu is an interesting issue in the Romanian capital. Approaching the international season, CSM has two wins out of two in the domestic league, though not fully convincing efforts.
CSM Slatina put up a fight on home ground and Bucharest didn’t reach the top level in the first half. The goalkeeper and defensive actions didn’t hit the mark and Slatina had a slight lead almost with 17–16 on the board halfway.
Evelina Eriksson between the posts gave Bucharest some needed energy after the break and the guests could overtake the lead. The performance on own half of the field was improved and Valeriia Maslova produced eight goals all in all.
Anne Mette Hansen also provided some deciding goals and Bucharest could complete a successful run to the second victory in a row. The first real test comes soon enough, Adrian Vasile´s team travels to Ikast HB for the CL premiere on Sunday.
