Things are storming at the Bosnian champions RK Borac where the entire board is now threatening to quit and the club is suffering from weak finances.
Is it news? Or is it the same show again? It is not the first time that there has been a storm in the management of one of the giants of the Balkans. This time: RK Borac from Banja Luka.
The club has gone out on its official Facebook and announced that both club director Vladimir Brankovic and the entire board have “offered” to resign. They refer, for example, to “the competent authorities’ lack of understanding” which should have meant that the club’s finances are now in crisis.
Players, managers and employees must have had a hard time getting compensation for the past three months. Now the closure of the club that has 1 gold in the champions cup (now Champions League), 7 league golds in the former Yugoslavia, 6 in the Bosnian league and many other titles is threatened.
But we’ll see how it ends. It usually rattles loudly and is threatened about both one and the other, in the end the clubs are still there ready for the new season. For example, please read about how Buducnost fared:
