Top teams ruled when Danish league got going

Denmark have three Champions League contenders when the international season starts in the weekend. All of them enter with a positive experience from the domestic league. Odense HB´s power performance received two points, Team Esbjerg and Nykøbing Falster also made it in away games.

Odenses domineering tactic left no room for interfering from EH Aalborg. Althea Reinhardt and Yara Ten Holte had one half each in the goal keeper position, as neither conceded ten goals stood no chance to compete in the standings.

Thale Rushfeldt Deila and Helene Fauske combined well in Odense´s attacks, the final score 35–16 indicated an opening for the winning team to save some resources.

Five goals were the minimum margin in the second half, which left Team Esberg with a clear upper hand against Silkeborg-Voel. Michala Møller proved once again in super shape and scored with all eight shots, Henny Reistad resumed the point giving role with four goals and four assists.

Nykøbing Falster had to go through a tight affair versus Ringkøbing and it was not until Sofie Börjesson´s save in the final minute that the guests definitively could cheer for the win. Top scorer Cecilie Bjerre (twelve goals) was a major threat to NFH´s calm, in the other direction Mona Obaidli chose five correct times to find the net.

Odense welcome Ludwigsburg HB in the first round of Champions League, while NFJ travel to Ferencvaros and Team Esbjerg faces a formidable opponent in Györi ETO KC.
