A few weeks ago Vipers Kristiansand went bankrupt and all of their players were free to sign with new clubs. Team Esbjerg has announced the signings of three of them: Nina Koppang, Merel Freriks, and Mia Emmenegger.
After a lot of financial problems Vipers went bankrupt, and as a result, all of the players at the club were free to find new employers. Considering the quality of the players in the Norwegian powerhouse it’s no surprise that a few of the players already have found new clubs.
The three latest: right back Nina Koppang, pivot Merel Freriks, and right wing Mia Emmenegger, have all signed for Danish top club Team Esbjerg, as announced in a press release on Monday.
