Second loss of the season for Aalborg

Aalborg hit the ground running, but has now lost two straight games away from home in the danish league. The latest came in Saturday’s game against Ringsted – where they were beaten with 27–31.

Aalborg started the season with 13 straight wins in the danish league. But during the last five games there has been struggles for Stefan Madsen´s team.

First came the draw against Lemvig and a week ago the first loss of the season came against Ribe-Esbjerg. After that they managed to beat SønderjyskE, but in Saturday’s game against Ringsted they came up short again.

In an even game it was eventually the home team TMS Ringsted that were able to hold off the league leaders at the end and win with 31–27.

This result makes things interesting in the Danish league as second placed Fredericia beat Ribe Esbjerg with 30–29 during the Saturday.
