In an impressive performance, Rasmus Lauge led Bjerringbro-Silkeborg to a 36–32 victory against Skjern, scoring a remarkable 16 goals himself. This marked the first time in four matches that BSH defeated Skjern.
Everything went smoothly for Rasmus Lauge in the match against Skjern. Sixteen goals from 19 attempts speaks for itself.
– That’s really good. It’s obviously crazy to have a game where you feel that the worst thing you can do is pass the ball. Some of the shots were a bit too optimistic, but when it works, it works, said Lauge to Danish TV2.
The match started with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg taking command, leading 16–10 at halftime. This lead proved too large for Skjern to overcome. Although Skjern won the second half by two goals, they never really came close. BSH, with Lauge leading the charge, extended their lead to 26–19 and controlled the match until the final whistle.
