Odense wins Danish league

Odense HB seems in total control of the Danish league. Success for the first part of the season was granted when the table number one beat Silkeborg-Voel 34–25 to secure the first place.

Odense was undefeated for 22 games before welcoming Silkeborg-Voel to an uneventful game, which added another two points to the impressive number. 

Maren Aardahl was efficient with six goals on six attempts, Helena Elver supported the effort by calling the shots from distance. In fact, Odense proved successful from every position as 13 different players contributed in the score sheet. 

For Silkeborg-Voel the final three games in the league stage will be strongly focused on keeping the team within the top eight to advance to the play-off. 

Another Tuesday game saw Nykøbing Falster eat Viborg HK to take over fourth place. The top sector is thoroughly divided, Odense in insurmountable lead eight points ahead of Team Esbjerg and Ikast HB. Nykøbing Falster a further eight points down.
