GOG won a major clash and managed good rehearsing for the CL start next week. In the Danish League the top team has two straight wins and leads an early version of the table.
In a game with 68 goals altogether, the right back Lasse Vilhelmsen went out of action early for GOG due to a red card.
The home team was in front by 14–12 at the time of Vilhelmsen´s exclusion but had to push hard to keep up with 17 all at half time.
Emil Grønbech in TTH was a constant threat while GOG had a solid left side with Nicolai Pedersen and Frederik Bjerre plus the good use of Oli Mittun´s playmaker skills.
The match was still even going into the last ten minutes, but GOG increased the pace with four goals in a row and held on to the advantage.
Next week has two major games in store for the yellow and red team, Barcelona away on Thursday and Aalborg away two days later.
GOG–TTH Holstebro 36–32 (17–17)
