Aalborg beat Bjerringbro-Silkeborg with 11 goals and are thus ready for the semi-finals in the Danish play-offs.
Aalborg Handball is making progress both internationally and nationally and on Saturday afternoon the team secured a place in the semi-finals.
Throughout most of the first half, Aalborg maintained a comfortable lead of five or six goals, ending the half with a commanding 16–9 advantage. As they replicated their strong start with another four-goal spree in the second half, the outcome was all but sealed, leaving the favorites to further extend their lead without much opposition.
The triumph extends Aalborg’s lead to eight points in three matches, making it impossible for any other team in Group 1, such as Mors-Thy and Ribe-Esbjerg, to surpass them. Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, on the other hand, only has one point.
