Beach handball player suspended due to Anti-Doping violation

EHF:s Court of Handball has decided to suspend a beach handball player for two years due to the player’s Anti-Doping violation, EHF says.

It was during the ebt Finals this past summer in France that a player from Poland tested positive for Hormone and Metabolic Modulators. Shortly after the competition, a provisional suspension was imposed on the player.

Now, the EHF Court of Handball has had time to review the relevant documents and decided that the player will be suspended for two years. The period of the provisional suspension will be credited.

The player has the option to appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal within seven days.
