Al-Ahly dominates to retain Men’s African Club Championship title

Al-Ahly retained their title at the CAHB Men’s African Club Championship, showcasing dominance throughout the tournament. They won the final against Flowers SC with a decisive score of 43–22, and seal their second title in a row and their seventh in history.

In the group stage, Al-Ahly was one of three undefeated teams, along with Zamalek and hosts Widad Smara. They demonstrated their strength by defeating Raja Agadir 33–13 in the quarter-finals and edging out arch-rivals Zamalek 26–25 in a thrilling semi-final.

But there was no question about the winner, as Al-Ahly were too strong for Flowers SC, taking a clear 43–22 win, to seal their second title in a row and their seventh in history.

Zamalek secured a bronze medal by defeating Mountada Derb Sultan 35:25 in the third-place match.
