Helena Elver is set to return to Odense Håndbold in the summer of 2027 after two seasons with Hungarian giants Györi Audi ETO KC. The Danish playmaker has signed a four-year contract with her former club, keeping her in Odense until 2031.
Elver previously represented Odense between 2020 and 2025 before making the move to Hungary. During her five seasons with the Danish club, she won several domestic league and cup titles and claimed a silver medal in the EHF Champions League.
The Danish international is preparing for a return to familiar surroundings ahead of the 2027/28 season.
– Odense has established itself as a regular contender at the top of European handball, and that makes returning incredibly attractive to me. At the same time, Odense is a place where I feel very comfortable, and I genuinely feel like I’m coming home, Elver said on the club’s website.
