Sander Sagosen will be sidelined for a potentially lengthy period after suffering a stress injury to his pelvis.
The injury occurred during Aalborg’s game against Fredericia HK on September 2. Sagosen played through the pain but was forced to operate at reduced capacity.
Following a series of examinations, Aalborg’s medical staff have confirmed that the Norwegian backcourt player could be sidelined for anywhere from six to 14 weeks.
– It is incredibly frustrating, as I had a good pre-season and felt that I had started the season well. We have a long and intense autumn ahead of us, so naturally I wanted to be part of the squad and contribute, Sagosen said.
