The Füchse Berlin superstar finished the campaign with an incredible 317 goals, becoming the only player to break the 300-goal barrier and helping Berlin secure second place and Champions League qualification.
Kai Häfner claimed second place with 255 goals for Stuttgart, while newly crowned champion Omar Ingi Magnusson finished third with 226 goals for SC Magdeburg.
Gidsel’s total was 62 goals better than his nearest challenger and underlined another remarkable individual season from the Danish world star.
