Four teams confirmed for EHF FINAL4 Women 2026 in Budapest

Györi, Metz, CSM Bucuresti and Brest have all secured their places at the season-ending showdown, with the title to be decided in Budapest on 6–7 June.

The line-up for the Women’s EHF Champions League FINAL4 2026 is now complete. After Saturday’s action saw Györi Audi ETO KC and Metz Handball book their tickets, Sunday confirmed the remaining two participants as CSM Bucuresti and Brest Bretagne Handball.

Together, the four clubs will head to Budapest for the highlight weekend of the European club season, where the semi-finals, third-place match and final will be played on 6-7 June at the MVM Dome.

Full line-up completed over the weekend

Györi and Metz were the first teams to secure their places, both coming through tightly contested quarter-final ties on Saturday. The Hungarian side once again showed their dominance on the European stage, while Metz survived a scare to reach yet another FINAL4 appearance.

On Sunday, the picture was completed. CSM Bucuresti ended an eight-year wait to return to the FINAL4 by overcoming Team Esbjerg in their quarter-final clash, marking a significant milestone for the Romanian club.

Shortly after, Brest Bretagne Handball joined them by sealing their progression, meaning two French teams will feature in Budapest this year.

All eyes on 6–7 June

With the line-up now confirmed, anticipation builds for what promises to be another high-quality FINAL4 weekend. The mix of established powerhouse Györi, consistent contenders Metz, returning force CSM Bucuresti and ambitious Brest sets the stage for an open and exciting battle for the title.

Budapest awaits, and with it, the crowning of the 2025/26 Women’s EHF Champions League winners.
