GOG crowned champions of EHF Youth Club Trophy

In the first edition of the EHF Youth Club Trophy, held at the prestigious LANXESS arena in Cologne, Danish side GOG claimed the title with a dominant 37–28 win over Veszprém Handball Academy.

GOG’s high-speed counterattacks and solid defense gave them a clear edge. Magnus Boysen Møldrup was named MVP of the final weekend, scoring nine goals. Teammates Emil Sørensen (8), Frederik Nygård Jespersen, and Oskar Jakobsen (7 each) were also key contributors. GOG’s strong defense and goalkeeping, especially two penalty saves by Carl Marius Poulsen, sealed the win.

Earlier, Barça secured third place with a stunning 55:28 victory over HC Eurofarm Pelister. Anselmo Collado (11 goals) led the charge, with Barça finishing the tournament with 177 goals across four matches — an average of over 44 per game. Despite the loss, Pelister’s Alem Hadzic was top scorer of the tournament with 40 goals.
