Poland and Arne Senstad to continue cooperation

Poland is aiming for a quality tournament as one of the hosts of Euro 2026. The championship on home ground will likely involve Arne Senstad as a national coach, according to information from TVP.

Senstad from Norway has been in charge of Poland since the autumn of 2019. The ninth place in last year’s Euro mirrored steady development from the white and red team, now Senstad could prove a valuable asset to spur Poland even further.

The next task is to clear the qualification hurdle for World Cup 2025, Poland is up against North Macedonia in play-off mode during the spring.

Since 2023 Senstad has had double assignment, Poland on national level and Larvik HK in the club world.

TVP states that the decision to continue the cooperation has already been made. A meeting in the board of the association should therefore be a mere formality before an official announcement.
