– It is a great honour and a privilege to become part of the coaching staff of the Danish national team. I am aware of the responsibility and the high expectations, but I think that the quality and experience that Denmark has gives us the right to believe that Denmark can continue to deliver good results, she says to the federation website.

Denmark meet Iceland September 20 during the autumn preparation but will also enjoy a week of training.

– I have had good contact with Bojana for a few years. It will be really cool to have her on the team with all the commitment and temperament she brings. I have been a coach in Eastern Europe myself and know the passion that exists in the Balkans, among other places. It will be good to bring some of that energy into our Scandinavian culture. Bojana is super talented, and I am really looking forward to the collaboration, says Helle Thomsen to the federation webpage.
