All set for European League final weekend

Four teams remain in contention for the European League title. The draw for the first day of Final four action has been done, with HSG Blomberg-Lippe against Ikast HB and Thüringer HC against JDA Dijon.

Two German teams, one from France and one Danish side meet up in Graz on Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4 May. While the places on the podium will be established a new champion will be crowned since last year’s winner, Storhamar got to try their luck in Champions League.

Ikast HB might regain the title after the triumph 2022/23. Including playing under the name of Herring-Ikast the club has made it to the final weekend in three out of four earlier occasions of the second-tier cup.

Thüringer HC clinched bronze medal last year and hope to stop Ikast´s domination. The teams facing each other in the other semifinal are Final four debutants.

EHF also conducted a draw for the order of finals in European Cup. Here BM Porrino (Spain) will start at home on the weekend of 10/11 May with the return game hosted by Valur (Iceland) 17/18 May.
