EHF presents nine teams who comes from a league in a nation that have secured a spot in Champions League 2025/26. Furthermore, ten teams have requested an upgrade to join the group stage in the prominent European cup.
This year’s winner, Györi Audi ETO KC is joined by the other final four teams in the setup for next season. Denmark has already got two fixed participants, Team Esbjerg and Odense HB but Ikast wants to join as well following a stint to the final in European League.
Hungary (FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria, DVSC Schaeffler), Norway (Sola HK, Tertnes Bergen) and Romania (Gloria Bistrita, CS Minaur Baia Mare) seek two upgrades each. Ultimately, the decision lies with EHF and the decision will be known on 24 June – excluding three teams in the process.
