Brest Bretagne, CSM Bucuresti, Györi Audi ETO KC and Metz Handball used the weekend to clinch the spots in the final Champions League phase 2025/26. Now the draw has been made for the semifinal matchups.
Györi ETO KC clinched the favourite spot and will travel to Budapest, the capital of their homeland with the view to the third title in a row. They still need to overcome Brest Bretagne, back in final four for the first time since 2021 to reach the final.
Metz HB is a regular contender at the final four stage, though the chase for the gold game keeps on on June 6. Metz will face CSM Bucharest who finally cleared the quarterfinal hurdle after nearly a decade of missing out on the season highlight weekend.
