After a period of economic turmoil, Vipers Kristiansand is keen to look forward. For the next two seasons the CL contender has agreed on a deal with Mathilde Arnstad from league rival Byåsen HB.
Arnstad has made her way to the team captain role in one of the top Norwegian teams. The move to Vipers indicates the pivot want to achieve even more.
– It feels very good to sign for Vipers Kristiansand. It´s a goal I´ve had for all my life as a handball player and when the opportunity arrives you have to consider yourself and the sporting possibilities you receive in Vipers, she says to the club webpage.
In October, Vipers went into bankruptcy but was revived from one day to another. Some questions are still to be solved surrounding the onward economic issues of the club, but the signing of Arnstad indicates belief in the future.
