Henny Reistad will leave Team Esbjerg at the end of the season after six years with the Danish club. The Norwegian star is strongly linked with a move to Brest Bretagne Handball.
Team Esbjerg confirmed on Friday that Reistad will leave when her contract expires next summer. The 27-year-old joined the club from Vipers Kristiansand in 2021 and has since won three Danish league titles and helped Esbjerg reach the EHF Champions League Final4 four years in a row.
Reistad’s next club has not yet been officially confirmed. However, French newspaper Le Télégramme reports that Brest Bretagne could be her next destination. The French club has teased a “historic announcement” for Friday, using a Viking ship in the announcement.
