Filippa Idéhn extended her time at Ikast with an important contribution to the ambitious club. After two seasons in total, the experienced goalkeeper will leave in the summer, Ikast announced on their website.
Idéhn joined Ikast from Silkeborg-Voel in the summer of 2023 but had to adjust her priorities after giving birth to her son in October that year.
Some time later, Ikast confirmed that Idéhn would move on in her career. However, after making her comeback on the court and with a concerning injury to new signing Olivia Nygaard, the club changed its plans, and the 34-year-old signed on for another season.
During the 2024/25 season, Idéhn has been trusted with a starting role and performed strongly, ranking third in the league statistics. The goalkeeper, with national team experience, is celebrating ten years as a professional abroad, while Ikast has secured Amalie Milling from Team Esbjerg for next season.
– Filippa has delivered exactly what I hoped for when we brought her in from Silkeborg-Voel. The first season didn’t see much action as she was in a happy personal situation, but this season she has truly proven her worth,” said director Daniel Grønhøj on the club’s website.
