Just as the previous season, Denmark will have three representatives in Champions League. Romania received the same number, but Hungary won’t follow suit since DVSC Schaeffler didn’t achieve success in the evaluation by the European Handball Federation.
A total of 16 teams can look forward to the draw, 27 June at 17:30 CEST. Celebrations were due for the seven upgraded sides, but Borussia Dortmund (Germany), DVSC Schaeffler (Hungary) and Sola HK (Norway) experienced a setback and move on to European League.
All in all, twelve team renew their campaigns from 2023/24. Among the four additions, CS Gloria 2018 BN is a true debutant in Champions League
