CL: Long awaited win for Vipers Kristiansand

Vipers Kristianstad broke the gloomy spell with a first two-pointer of the season. The top contenders in group A kept their winning streaks, Ferencvaros defends the first spot over Krim Ljubljana.

Ferencvaros distanced the Romanian visitor Gloria-Bistrita by eight goals at half-time. A surprising dip brought some nerves to the game but the home crowd pushed the Hungarian team over the top. Andrea Lekic shone with seven goals as the match winner.

Krim Ljubljana had an even more hard-fought win, but used the ultimate time-out well and scored 24–23 plus 25–23 in open net. Tamara Horacek (seven goals) proved valuable once again for Krim, while Storhamar still stands with the one point gained in the first round.

Metz HB´s final quarter decided the game against Podravka Vegeta with the guests lacing to find any offensive opening. Chloe Valentini was very productive for Metz with eleven goals and the French champion is just one point behind the leading duo in group A.

Vipers Kristiansand defeated Odense HB by a small margin after a goalkeeper masterclass by Silje Solberg-Oesthassel. On the other hand, Mie Højlund and Thale Rushfeldt Deila opened up a gap for Odense but Solberg denied the away team completely in the end and allowed Jamina Roberts and lois Abbingh to complete an overturn.
