The prominent pivot Beatrice Edwige breaks up from the contract with Ferencvaros after a mutual agreement with the Hungarian club. A short press statement doesn’t comment any further on the reasons behind her departure.
Edwige played consistently on the line and in defense for many years with the French national team. Since leaving the domestic league in 2019 she performed for top European clubs like Györi ETO KC and Rostov-Don.
Ferencvaros had a stable spot in the squad for the 36-year-old in three seasons. But the half year mark of 2025 also means Edwige has done her last game in the traditional ”Fradi” jersey.
Effectively Edwige can look back on one league title, four cup trophies and one CL final during her time in Ferencvaros. The destination of Edwige´s move is yet to be known.
