The draw for the IHF 2027 World Cup has been completed, and it has already produced several intriguing matchups. With the tournament set to be played in Germany, fans can expect high-quality clashes from the very start.
The competition kicks off on January 13, with the final scheduled for January 31. Hosts Germany will open the tournament in Munich against Tunisia, as part of Group A, which also includes Serbia and Uruguay.
Defending champions Denmark appear to have received a favorable path in Group F, where they will face Slovenia, the USA and Angola. On paper, the reigning title holders should be strong favorites to progress.
One of the most eye-catching groups is Group E, featuring a Scandinavian rivalry between Norway and Sweden. They will be joined by Greece and Qatar.
