According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Bryan Monté is on the verge of signing for Barcelona. The 23-year-old is reportedly set to be bought out of his current contract and could join the Spanish side as early as 2027.
Mundo Deportivo dropped a major transfer bombshell on Saturday, reporting that Brazilian star Monty has supposedly agreed to a three-year deal with Spanish giants Barcelona and will join the club in the summer of 2027.
Monty is currently under contract with French side Montpellier until 2029 and is regarded as one of the biggest prospects in the world. Despite being just 23 years old, the left-back has already established himself at the highest level, playing a key role for a very successful Montpellier side.
Montpellier faced Barcelona in the EHF Champions League just days ago. Barça managed to secure a one-goal victory, with Monty scoring three goals for the French side.
