Liga Asobal reports some good TV ratings for the finished season. In 2024/25 over 6,5 million viewers tuned in for handball action from the Spanish top flight.
The official cumulative is 6,511,800 according to the league website. All had good reason to follow their favourite sport via the official platform, LaLiga+.
Except for broadcasting all 240 games on a separate platform, liga Asobal has ongoing deals with major nationwide channels as Teledeporte and RTVE Play to reach further viewers and a number of local channels show matches with teams from a specific region.
Longtime champion was involved in top two of matches seen by most people. Playing away against BM Granollers 341,000 watched and the duel versus La Rioja had 256,000 viewers according to the league website.
The previous season had a total of 6,144,711 viewers.
