Vipers Kristiansand still on top in Norway

Vipers Kristiansand extended their victory streak Wednesday evening. Larvik fell behind already in the first half and the high-paced effort with many fast break goals accounted for the good Vipers margin, 37–27. 

The reigning CL champion, Vipers Kristiansand is most likely ot of contention for a direct quarterfinal spot and has to rely on the playoff round.

On home soil, all is in order. Vipers just reached the half-way mark with two more points done. Third placed Larvik were dethroned in the end of the last decade and hasn’t been able to secure a point for the the last 18 games.

Vipers caught up with the guests after eleven minutes, 6–6. Enter Paula Arcos Poveda and the home side ran away, 9–2 in a dominant period.

Larvik was never able to cut the deficit, but Maja Furu Sæteren remained first in line in offensive with twelve goals in total. Vipers had eleven players in the score sheet with Arcos Poveda (six goals) as the major contributor.
