Another player from the bankrupt club of Vipers Kristiansand has made her future handball adventure known. Silje Saade returns to her previous club, Byåsen HB with immediate effect.
Waade played for Byåsen between 2013 and 2018, making the Trondheim side her first professional club. After some consideration she brings her experience back for two seasons.
– I have a very good gut feeling about this. It feels right. I am quite clear that the level of the club I have been in up until now has been a few notches lower, but I am looking forward to being part of the journey forward, the defensive ace says to the club website.
Byåsen is currently seventh in the table, just three points within the play-off zone. Waade would preferably have the traditional team look elsewhere.
– When you hear the name Byåsen, it should be a club that always fights at the top. I hope that is something we can strive for next year.
– At the same time, you want to come in with a certain standard to raise the training level. I want to use all the experience I have in the bank and fresh in my mind. I will get it out and spread it in the training culture in Byåsen, she says to the club website.
