Kjersti Boge Solaas switch to Storhamar

Kjersti Boge Solaas recently started playing for Vipers Kristiansand. The 26-year-old will soon adapt to another club, Storhamar HB has signed the back court players with a two-year-contract.

Boge Solaas had a stint in Siofok but returned to Norway in 2020 and found a productive role in Byåsen. Economical issues in 2023/24 meant the Trondheim team had to reduce the star quality and Boge Solaas had to go in December.

Three months she was back on court for Vipers Kristiansand with a short time contract and possibilities to improve the defense in Champions League.

According to local media, Vipers offered a three-year-extension but Boge Solaas had another option in mind.

– First and foremost Storhamar seems like a very stable club both on and off the court. They have delivered on a high level several seasons in a row. If they continue in the same way it will only get better for each season. I want to contribute here, says Boge Solaas to the club webpage.

Vipers might only offer her backup opportunities. Storhamar hope for good shots and cooperation with the pivot as Boge Solaas join the back court lineup.
