Elverum one step ahead of Kolstad

Elverum HH took first trick towards Kolstad HB. Thereby Elverum is the only team not to have lost any points in the table of Eliteserien.

Things were not looking up for Kolstad since Sander Sagosen and Torbjørn Bergerud both had to forfeit the game due to injury. But the guests managed a tight duel and presented Simen Lyse in super shape to compensate for the missing stars.

More than 5 000 spectators witnessed the top fight and Elverum took the upper hand in the end. Richard Frisk provided vital saves and Mathias Larson (seven goals) secured the win for the home team by increasing the lead to two goals in the final minutes.

– It was a fun game with twists and turns all the way. We had a rough start but fought our way back into it. Then it was two goals plus both ways the rest of the game, said Elverum´s Patrick Anderson afterwards to TV2.
