Adam Blanche has emerged as the first-choice line player for the Swedish club IK Sävehof. Following an impressive spring season, the 24-year-old has outgrown the Swedish Handball League and is now seeking new challenges with Norwegian Champions League contender Kolstad.
Kolstad, a club competing in the EHF Champions League, has announced the signing of several Swedish players this January, including national team goalkeeper Andreas Palicka. Blanche will join the club on a two-year contract.
– I want to become the best player I possibly can be. I want to play in the world’s best league, the Champions League, and I want to win titles, Blanche told Kolstad’s official website.
Blanche finalized the deal during a visit to Trondheim earlier this week, where he signed the contract on Tuesday.
– Adam is a great guy with solid values who will fit in well with our group. He’s a dedicated athlete, very strong offensively with excellent blocking skills, and a reliable scorer, said Eck Aga to Kolstad’s website.
