Denmark overpowers Brazil to secure semifinal spot

Brazil came out strong in the first half, applying pressure on Denmark. However, after the break, Denmark once again demonstrated why they are one of the best teams in the world, pulling ahead to a comfortable lead.

Denmark started the match at a fast pace and quickly took control. By the end of the first quarter, they had built a 9–3 lead, while Brazil struggled to keep up. The Brazilians made several technical errors, which the Danes capitalized on effectively.

However, Brazil fought back into the game. They managed to close a 12–6 deficit and reduced the score to 15–12 before halftime.

Denmark came out strong in the second half, extending their lead further. Brazil attempted to neutralize Mathias Gidsel by pressuring the right back for much of the first half. However, this tactic lost its effectiveness when Denmark started playing seven against six, which gave Gidsel more opportunities to shine.

A standout for Brazil was Vinicios Lima De Carvalho, who impressed with powerful long-range shots. Despite his efforts, Denmark extended their lead to 21–15, and Brazil continued to struggle to close the gap.

Denmark proved unstoppable, and Brazil were defeated with 33–21. As expected, Denmark secured their place in the semifinals. Their opponents will be determined after this evening’s quarterfinal between Portugal and Germany, which starts at 20:30.
