Denmark ready for Paris 2024

To say the least, it was fierce competition to make it into Nikolaj Jacobsen squad. Denmark travels to Paris with medal aims and 14 highly skilled players.

DHF presents the selection including two stars that ends impressive national careers in the Olympics, Mikkel Hansen and Niklas Landin.

Thomas Arnoldsen, back court talent from Aalborg HB features in his first major championship. Notably, no natural right wing is selected.

Nikolaj Jacobsen comments on the difficulty in the limited number of players.

– This is much harder than it normally is. Usually, you can include specialists with specie abilities, says the coach to the federation website.

The initial choice is done and Denmark puts focus on the potential podium.

– We depart to see, if wer can finish on top. We always do. But then we also know that there will be a very tough challenge because there is a quiet strong host nation, which will receive a lot of support playing on home ground, Jacobsen adds to dhf.dk.
