Veselin Vujovic handball philosophy has found another base. Qatar relies on the high-profile character in a recently announced agreement.
Vujovic predecessor, Valero Rivera had twelve years with the exceptional highlight in the world championship final on home soil 2015. An era did come to an end earlier this year but Qatar seems keen on another capable European coach in charge.
”Officially, the Qatar Handball Association has signed a contract with coach Veselin Vujovic as coach of our national handball team to lead it in upcoming events”, writes the federation after signing a deal in Belgrade.
Qatar´s first goal with Vujovic is obvious after qualifying for the 2025 World Championship.
