USA advance to WC 2027

USA secured a ticket to the third straight World Championship. The race to a continental title on home ground was rather forward – four wins in a row for the North American and Caribbean top team.

Slowly but surely the Olympic tournament in Los Angeles is in sight for the host nation. USA took another step in the long term preparations by defeating Mexico, Greenland and Canada in the five-day that led to Germany 2027.

Mexico in the opening game turned out to be the most exciting game of the four match-ups, with Alex Chan Blanco (eight goals) in the centre back role playing a vital part for the 32–27-triumph.

Neither Greenland (34–24) nor Canada (34–17) posed a significant threat and the final against Greenland was a solid performance in defense allowing only 18 goals from the opponent.

In the individual ranks, Samuel Hoddersen became top scorer overall with 22 goals and Benjamin Pedersen was the best goalkeeper with a save percentage of 48.
