Germany is next in line to announce their selection of 35 players in the World Cup preparation, via DHB´s website. Alfred Gislason will reduce the number significantly until the championship start in January.
The backbone of the national team will surely make it to Herning where Germany faces Italy, Algeria and Tunisia in the group stage. Stars as David Späth, Andreas Wolff, Juri Knorr, Jannik Kohlbacher and Johannes Golla are included in Gislason´s extended squad.
All 35 players represent domestic clubs and all but one, pivot Aaron Seesing from Bergischer HC currently plays in the top flight.
