Qatar and South Korea one step closer to group wins

The second round turned out to be decision day in group A and B. Kuwait and Qatar followed the victory path to the Main Round and Iran and South Korea followed suit.

South Korea ran away from New Zealand with Jeawoo Song and Youngung An in the mood for attack variation. In the other direction, New Zealand only managed to score on every third shot, which accounted for 42–13 at the final whistle. The other top two contender, Iran dismissed China with 24–22 after a more exciting match. Younes Asari were put in position for vital goals in the end and China couldn´t create any equalizer chances in the end.

Once again, Qatar managed to save some resources and still be in control. Oman were not even close and dynamic duo Ahmad Madadi and Frankis Marzo became joint top scorer with five goals each for Qatar. Kuwait still aim for top spot in the group with twelve different goal scorers in the balanced effort against Chinese Taipei. Ten goals separated the teams with twelve minutes to go, Chinese Taipei were only able to the cut the deficit to 31–27.
