Earlier this year, the Faroe Islands secured a place in EHF Euro 2024, which is the nation’s first ever senior championship. Now it is clear which players Peter Bredsdorff-Larsen and Julian Johansen have selected to represent the Faroe Islands.
Never before has a country with so few inhabitants qualified for a championship, all sports included. It is now clear which players from the small island nation, with approximately 50,000 inhabitants, will represent the Faroe Islands in the European Championship.
