Denmark is one of the biggest favorites for the upcoming Euros in Germany and during the Thursday the squad was revealed by Nikolaj Jacobsen.
Denmark is reigning world champions and have great hopes coming into the EHF Euros in Germany in January. Nikolaj Jacobsen has got a lot of stars to choose from and during the Thursday he confirmed his squad for the tournament.
The squad consists of 19 players, but only two goalkeepers – Niklas Landin and Emil Nielsen. Something that for example mean that both Kevin Møller and Janick Green has been left out.
Another player that was excluded from the squad was Lasse Andersson, who has been one of the best players of the Bundesliga during the autumn. Except that it can be said that Simon Pytlick has been included, despite his injury problems. But Jacobsen got a good feeling about his starlet.
– Simon has started training in Flensburg after a good course together with Anja (the national team’s physiotherapist, Anja David Greve) The training Simon has participated in until now has been positive, and therefore we are delighted that he should be able to participate in the EC without problems, says Nikolaj Jacobsen to Danskhaandold.dk.
