Aalborg is looking for a new coach since Stefan Madsen steps down from the assignment after the season. Ex-Flensburg leader Maik Machulla seems like a high-ranked candidate, as TV2 indicates a recent meeting between the 47-year-old and club management.
At the end of last season Machulla was let go from SG Flensburg-Handewitt. The double gold (2018 and 2019) coach faced some less results and couldn’t change the trend before Flensburg opted for another solution by the bench.
Aalborg might be Machulla´s next job, at least according to TV2´s supposedly reliable sources. Though, no comment has been made from club director Jan Larsen and the news channel hasn’t been able to reach Machulla.
The Champions League club indicates the process has come a long way.
– Of course I have some papers with name, we are not We´re not starting from zero. On the contrary we have an idea about who we could consider and we hope to reveal him in the near future, said Larsen earlier to TV2.
