Barca might soon make up its mind about the goalkeeper team. According to Mundo Deportivo Viktor Hallgrimsson is definitely first in line for a contract, as Gonzalo Perez de Vargas departs the star club.
Hallgrimsson has played for SC Magdeburg since last summer and also comes with experience from top-flight action in Denmark (GOG) and France (HBC Nantes). If the deal with Barca indicated as a two-year-deal by the media source comes through the 24-year-old will undeniably take a huge step.
No doubt, Barca is preparing for a major change with two goalkeeper switches in two upcoming seasons. Not only Gonzalo Perez de Vargas signature for THW Kiel with Hallgrimsson as the replacement candidate keeps the club management occupied.
