Luka Cindric has provided a much sought-after signature for Telekom Veszprem. The Hungarian giant secures the center back for four seasons, via a two plus two year contract.
Cindric, aged 30 has already given proof of great passing qualities and ability to find the net in many prominent clubs.
Wherever the playmaker chose to play there were titles won, from RK Vardar in the last mid-decade to Barca and a short stint in Dinamo Bucharest 2023/24. The Romanian champion could only offer European League as an international treat, whereas Veszprem ofcourse is aways present and ready for Champions League.
– Luka Cindric is a classy and experienced handball player in center back position, which he has proven several times also in the Champions League. After we agreed with Xavi Pascual, it became clear that in order to implement his game philosophy, we will need one more player who can be deployed in the interior positions, says Veszprem CEO Csaba Bartha to the club webpage revealing crucial examination into the resources of the newcomer.
– We were aware that Luka had had injuries in the past, so before his signing he underwent a comprehensive medical examination, where the doctors found everything to be fine.
New coach Xavi Pascual moved along the same route as Cindric a short while ago. With the latest addition, Veszprem expresses to have almost completed the squad for 2024/25.
