Veszprem is ever keen to strengthen the position among the European elite. According to several sources in Romania and Hungary the club might pay a considerable transfer fee to acquire Dika Mem from Barca next summer.
Mem has provided stability for the back court in Barca, not long since his arrival in 2016. The fact that adds some substance to the rumour featured for example in Gazeta Sporturilor is Barca’s financial situation.
To improve the numbers and satisfy the need for savings, Barca could release Mem two years before contract of the 27-year-old expires in 2027.
If the transfer comes through, Mem will once again be coached buy Xavi Pascual, previously in Barca. Hugo Descat, Ludovic Fabregas and Nedim Remili already provide a strong French presence in Veszprem.
