Füchse Berlin lacked left wing capacity after Jerry Tollbring´s injury. Reinforcement has arrived by way of the Croatian veteran Manuel Strlek.
Strlek has agreed on a contract until the end of the season and makes a swift move from RK Nexe. If Bundesliga is an unwritten chapter for the 35-year-old, Strlek has a lot of Champions League experience, including the total victory with Kielce in 2016.
– I am very pleased that I will be playing for the Füchse Berlin. I hope I will settle in quickly, but I have only heard good things about the team and the club. I hope I can help the team in this situation and am ready to start with my teammates, he says to the club webpage.
Strlek resumes training with Berlin right after the international break.
– With Strlek we are signing a very experienced, internationally known left winger who will hopefully give us the stability we need in defence and attack for the rest of the season. I also hope that he can support and relieve Tim Freihöfer in the team, says the coach Jaron Siewert to the club website.
