A serious injury stops Leo Prantner from playing for Füchse Berlín during the autumn season. The right winger from Italy is currently recuperating after shoulder surgery, according to club communication.
Prantner had a splendid start to what should have been his first full season in the capital team and scored nine goals against Frisch Auf Göppingen. Soon afterwards, the problem in his left shoulder was discovered.
– The shoulder surgery was successful. I am recovering step by step and am working with full motivation to be back on the handball court soon, he says to the club webpage.
The fact remains – Füchse Berlín will miss the capable 23-year-old until the end of 2025. As a a replacement, Max Günther from VfL Potsdam has entered the squad.
– I’m happy to be back with Füchse and to be involved in the match against Aalborg on Thursday. I’m looking forward to the rest of the first half of the season and hope we have a successful season, Günther says to the club website.
